We recommend keeping the panellets in a cool (16ºC) and dry place, away from direct heat sources. A basement, a wine cellar or the refrigerator drawer are possible solutions, as long as you leave the products in their original packaging or tightly closed.

Keep in mind that the panellets must be removed from the refrigerator with their respective packaging, about two hours before they are going to be enjoyed (20ºC), this helps their flavors develop.

Panellets are the sweet par excellence of the Castañada in Catalonia, the Balearic Islands and the Valencian Community. They are traditionally enjoyed on November 1 (All Saints Day), but they have become the perfect sweet to celebrate the arrival of autumn along with chestnuts and sweet potatoes.
